Vestibular Resources
Knowledge is a powerful tool in managing dizziness and vertigo. This section provides access to evidence-based information, support networks, and specialist centers that I personally recommend. Whether you are looking for medical facts or peer support, these links are here to guide your journey to recovery.

Vestibular Organisations
Vestibular Disorder Association (VEDA)
VeDA is an American non-profit organisation that provides a wealth of information for patients through articles and videos covering a wide range of vestibular diagnoses. While the site is primarily in English, VeDA formed a partnership in May 2022 with the Association des Désordres Vestibulaires (ADeV) and GDR Vertige. Thanks to this collaboration, you can now find many of their high-quality resources and educational articles translated into French.
The Bárány Society is the premier international interdisciplinary organisation for vestibular research and neuro-otology. While its primary focus is facilitating collaboration between scientists and clinicians, it is globally recognised for establishing the International Classification of Vestibular Disorders (ICVD).
These gold-standard diagnostic criteria define how vestibular diseases are identified and treated worldwide. For patients and professionals alike, it serves as the ultimate authority on the formal definitions of balance disorders.
The Ménière's Society is the UK’s leading charity for anyone affected by dizziness and balance problems. They provide high-quality, evidence-based information on a wide range of vestibular conditions, alongside a dedicated helpline and a national network of peer support groups. It is an essential resource for patient advocacy and practical coping strategies within the UK healthcare system.
Balance & Dizziness Canada is a leading non-profit dedicated to supporting those with vestibular and balance disorders. As a comprehensive resource hub, the society provides evidence-based information, patient advocacy, and a national directory of specialised practitioners. Reflecting its commitment to accessibility across the country, the organisation offers its essential resources and support in both English and French.
Association Suisse du Déficit Vestibulaire Bilatéral (ASDVB)
The 'Association Suisse du Déficit Vestibulaire Bilatéral (ASDVB)' is the primary Swiss association for individuals suffering from bilateral vestibular loss. Their site offers peer support, medical explanations, and a community forum. Website is in French.
Société Française de Kinésithérapie Vestibulaire (SFKV)
The 'Société Française de Kinésithérapie Vestibulaire' (SFKV) is the French society of vestibular physiotherapists. Here you can find a handful of brochures with information on diverse vestibular pathologies. Only in French language. For English speakers I would recommend reading the VEDA website.
Association Suisse de la Maladie de Ménière
The Association Suisse de la Maladie de Ménière is a vital French-speaking resource dedicated to supporting those affected by Ménière’s disease across Switzerland. The site provides essential educational content on the condition and its treatments while fostering a strong community through support groups and digital networks in the Romandie region.
It is particularly valuable for patients and families seeking practical advice on managing the 'invisible' challenges of the disease and connecting with others who share similar experiences.
Clinics and Hospitals
This section features key medical centers and clinics specialising in balance disorders. I work directly with some of these partners to coordinate care, while others offer valuable educational insights and resources regarding different vestibular conditions.

To ensure my patients receive the highest standard of medical oversight, I collaborate closely with the brilliant Dr. Honorata Crisan.
Based at the Medical Center of Clinique La Prairie, Dr. Crisan brings extensive expertise in otoneurology and vestibular diagnostics.

I maintain a close partnership with the specialists at Centre ORL Lémanique. By collaborating with their entire team of ENT surgeons and otoneurology experts, I ensure that my patients benefit from a seamless integration of medical diagnostics and specialised vestibular therapy.

The website of the HUG provides a detailed overview of their medical activities, specifically highlighting their role as a leading center for vestibular and balance disorders.
